President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long one. That’s almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.

His job-creation record won’t look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years, a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton‘s administration and only slightly better than President George H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.

Still doesn't excuse his ideas of Americans working for dirt, which is EXACTLY what he wants to see. He has SAID as much. He has said that we need to give up our lifestyles because someone has to come down (Americans) in order for someone else to come up (Foreign nations). If you don't know what your man is about, then you are hopeless and shouldn't even be participating in any of this.

Deflection. It's painfully obvious you Lefties don't want to touch anything related to Obama with a 1,000 foot pole. He has become extremely toxic eh?

To which time are you referring? It has been changed 4 times, and 3 of the times were by Democrats (Carter, Clinton and Obama).

During the Reagan Administration. Carter was right, what moron would count the prison population as "unemployed?" Both Carter and Reagan were also right on the military. Why should the military be counted as "unemployed?" Prior to 1976, there were about 1.75 Million active duty military members and they were being counted as "unemployed." To really appreciate the counting the prison population and the military as unemployed, its important to understand that the labor pools was calculated differently as well. It was a lot smaller than today, but then it was only males between 18-65, and then a percentage of females between 25-45 years.

It doesn't surprise me that a lot of what President Obama says, isn't understood by a fairly large number of people. But the fact remains, wages have gone up, unlike the years preceding him when the wages were going down. Democratic policies are destined to increase wages. Why do you think there is so much hatred from the republican world for"redistribution of wealth" when the trend they favor is reversed?

You've got a comparison of numbers from previous administration to this? I would love to see that. But if you read my post and the ones I've responded to along the lines, you would know who and what I was speaking of. Try it.

That was funny. I don't think workingclasshero was expecting to be called that, for caring about the wages of government workers.

the only reason wages have increased is the higher population of government workers at exec levels...and the increase of the mininum wage in 2010 (that was passed by bush)

obusha is a failure just like bush

they are both the same progressive fascist globalists
...ie lefties
