Fastforward a year from now and Obama is debating Romney or Pawlenty or whoever. We already know very clearly how obama wants to address jobs, a government jobs program and an investment in infrastructure, education, and green tech as he outlined in his 10Y budget.

But, during the debates, when the question gets turned around to the Republican Nominee--

"What is your plan to improve the economy"

By Definition, they HAVE to answer

"Tax cuts for the rich and deregulation"

They have no choice but to answer that or face the wrath of the tea party, rush limbaugh, billo the clown and all of the other talking heads.

However, I think at that moment their campaign might be finished as most independents and swing voters won't buy that. What do you guys think?

I doubt you actually believe what you wrote.

But, O.K. I'll bite:

The GOP nominee simply has to say, "Mr. President, the economy is much worse now than the day you screwed up the oath of office". (remember that?)

Unemployment 16% http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate...loyment-charts

Housing in a depression worse than the 1930s http://www.independent.co.uk/news/bu...e-2291491.html

Dozens of TRILLIONS in unfunded promises http://lifeinc.today.com/_news/2011/...ns-62-trillion

The upcoming election will be the biggest cakewalk for a Republican since Reagan wiped the floor with Mondale in '84

Obama won't even carry his "home state" (lol) of Illinois.

How else can a republican answer that question? It's the only legitimate answer they can give while having a R next to their name.

the short answer is that we ALREADY had that under the Bush administration and that is partially of why we're where we are at now.

Just doing the opposite of what the current POTUS is doing should garner quite a few votes alone.

I thought we were talking about the candidates plan to help the economy... not destroy the economy.

It doesn't matter what any of them say, as long as they are smooth and look good saying it.

What we know for certain is that Obama's economic plan has been a complete disaster and utter failure. Any plan which is an improvement upon Obamanomics should be seen as a valid option to the complete distruction of the US economy and currency.

Obama has had his way and the Democrat controlled Congress failed to pass his budget. Why do you think Obama can budget beyond a period he is actually in office when he cannot even budget his first 2+ years in office?

Why is it that the liberal elite never learned to design a non-biased poll when they were in school? Instead all we ever get are silly rhetoric filled assumptions instead of unbiased polling.

1. Cut taxes for the rich
2. Cut regulations
3. Privatize Medicare
4. Privatize Social Security

That's the GOP plan.
