Miss USA contest evolves: 'Huge science geek' wins - Faith & Reason

She's right, science powaaaa
Evolution is ALREADY taught in public schools so I don't understand what was the point in bringing that up. I don't believe in evolution and my kids won't be taught that either. I'm putting them in a private Christian school. It's gonna be a hot day in Hell for some people who believe in a lie that defies the God who created life.

And what about Phrenology? ... That should be taught in public schools.

If Paranormal Science isn't taught in public schools, how can our children train for a rewarding career in Ghost-Busting???!!!!!
might as well throw in eugenics while we're at it

Yeah it is. It's the truth. You evolution believers are in direct opposition to God. He says HE created life and HE breathed life into humans. You purposely DENY this and believe that you came from a primate. Then you want to turn around and act like your so educated because you believe in lie. How deluded.

I bet that you would not want the teaching of the stories of creation as put down by other religions in the schools, only your own fairy tales- this is the hypocrisy of most 'creationists'. Creationists spout about fair intellectual time for their fairy tales in the science class, but only want their religion's fairy tales told, not say the Hindus version, or the Native Americans stories of creation told. None of these stories have any place in a scientific classroom- if this were to be done, we would raise science students even less prepared to compete against science students across the world than they are now. Our kids have enough problems competing without clouding their minds with fairy tales about creation as told in the bible.

Yeah...because we really value the expert opinion of a young beauty queen - they're known for their brains.

They have about as much room in this debate as the "science" of evolution does in a secular modern-day science class.

Actually, i'm far more objective than that. If evolution is taught, then it would only make sense to cover the entire gammut of historical and scientific theories behind life on Earth. Just because you have a narrow mind and believe that evolution is the only possible answer, doesn't mean I share the same narrow view.
