To the OP,how EXACTLY are fat people discriminated against?

By not being picked first on the school team seems to be one example...

It's not like school teams were worth a darn. School makes you dumb which is a whole other problem.

I am (amazed, appalled) by the amount of (discussion, invective) displayed in this thread. Some of us clearly have Way too much time on our hands!

Losing the weight I have made me realize how shallow this world really is. It's pretty sad.

I highly recommend people see the movie "Supersize Me" and after that watch a much more truthful follow-up called "Fat Head". It turns out that a lot of what the government recommends and laws that have been passed to force the fast food industry, for example to stop using animal fat to fry foods and to instead use genetically engineered vegetable oils that are hydrogenated has not only not reduced the number of obese people in the nation, it has actually INCREASED the obesity rate in this country. These laws were all passed to increase bottom line profits of BIG AGRA and BIG FOOD.

Not only did it increase the obesity rate but it increased the number of cases of diabetes diagnosed.

After watching these movies especially the second one, FAT HEAD, viewers will have a lot more empathy for fat people. You'll also learn that eggs and meat and animal fat is a lot better for you than margarine or canola oil or hydrogenated corn oil which is also genetically engineereed. It turns out that many diet foods will not only not help you to lose weight but they come with a rash of other side effects.

Fat Head shows us we can all thank the government and their perogative to force diet changes on us one way or another by their using junk science and not actual clinical studies to support their agenda to make these sweeping changes in how a lot of food is prepared and what is available to us.

Watch "Fat Head" on YouTube and you will see what I mean.

The point was, most people view obese people as physically unattractive, that isn't discrimination.

It just so happens that many of them are boorish (in my experiences).

If nothing else, I implore you to stop eating pork. Please don't contribute to the house of horrors that these animals must endure. I am not telling you what to do, I am making a plea to your sense of decency. We all give lip service to being against cruelty, this would be one small step in the direction to stop it.
Pig Abuse Exposed - Mercy For Animals
don't wait for government to intervene in something that is all too common, because we view animals as inferior. We are called humans, because we are supposed to be humane!
