That's your opinion only. Your gracious leader will be shown the door in less than two years. At least you'll get to stop making excuses for him and his Administration, as you often do on this forum. That should at least make you happy, right?

The only reason righties care about this is because it involved Ronald Reagan, who they worship. If it had been a lunch in the UK for Clinton, Kennedy, Carter, etc. they wouldn't have given two ****s.

In fact, if Obama or anyone in his administration had attended an event in the UK for a former Democrat president, they'd lambast him for "not being on American soil on the 4th" and/or "partying and having fun instead of solving the debt crisis." We all have seen how this works around here, nothing new.

The fact that the Right Wing flunkies actually think that this is a noteworthy story is further proof that the GOP is circling the drain.

Did you even read the story you posted? I know the Drudge Report doesn't expect you to, just to glom onto their usual misleading headline.

Turns out Ambassador Susman hosted a celebratory breakfast for the event, and attended the unveiling. What, you want to criticise him him because he didn't show up for dinner, too? Is he supposed to devote his entire 24 hr day to this latest lionization of Saint Ronnie? I hope the notorius London pigeons become very fond of the Reagan statue. I was there last fall, and I can tell you, they are disrespectful little critters!

"Madame" Rothschild has been on Obama's @#$ since he beat out Hillary for the nomination. I remember well her shrill, idiotic posturing on Fox every day in the run-up to the 2008 election, pretending to be a feminist, trying to shave off Obama votes by warning Dems that he's, you know,"uneletable", if you get my drift (wink wink...)

Rothschild, Bush Admin refugees, and a handful of the usual bitchy letters to the editor types are hardly proof of anything, except that the Wingers obviously only thinks politics ends at the water's edge when they have the WH.

I'm kinda surprised Condi showed up, though. I would have thought she, Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld would be scared to go anywhere where the International Court could snag them for war crimes. She musta got some kind of immunity deal for the trip .
Rothschild was right wasn't she! You Liberal dems are just bent out of shape because she did not support the Liberal Agenda.

My opinion is perfectly valid.

Please explain why you think that the ambassador, after hosting a lavish breakfast, attending the unveiling and speaking at the unveiling, should not have any other obligations that preclude him from attending dinner as well. When you can do that, your opinion is valid. Otherwise, it's pettiness. I might also point out, that YOU decided to make this personal with your little diatribe. Obama is not my gracious leader. He is OUR gracious leader. And I don't make excuses for him and his Administration. I'm quite often critical in my comments about this administration, but I always try to be rational about that criticism. I don't go for the petty, unlike some here.

Now let's be fair. Efter her investment in Hillary Clinton didn't pan out she wound up supporting McCain.

Apparently Her Ladyship thought Obama was an elitist.

Okay, so much for the UK's London Evening Standard story. BUT, take a look at the comments that follow it. YIKES! Honestly, I don't think Obama has a shot at winning re-election.
Why do you people blame absolutely everything in existence on Obama? The Presidency is more than one man.

Your whining should be directed at Hillary Clinton since she is the boss of the Ambassador to the UK.
