You're right. In fact, England was America's first enemy.

Okay, so much for the UK's London Evening Standard story. BUT, take a look at the comments that follow it. YIKES! Honestly, I don't think Obama has a shot at winning re-election.
Maybe he just took July 4th off, like the rest of us did?

I find it much more offensive he sent back the bust of Winston Churchill and just downright stupid and obnoxious if he gave the Queen an Ipod with his speeches on it.

Not a big deal, but ambassador fundraiser (which is a problem on a whole other level) should've at least sent some sort of staffer regardless

Ronald Reagan's values are the antithesis of BHOs! Figures that the Regime would snub the event. After all RWR did not have much use for socio/commies.

I'm surprised Michelle Obama wasn't available.

She's always jetting off somewhere or another...

Bammer would have been there in person if this was a party for Charles Ruthenberg

How was the event snubbed? Did the ambassador not host a lavish breakfast for the attendees? Did the ambassador not attend the unveiling? Did the ambassador not make a brief speech? Did the ambassador not expressly thank the organizers of the dinner for their invitation and offer his regrets for having obligations elsewhere? Oh yeah, he did all that. Hmmm, snubbed? I don't think so.

I think this comment from the article says it best:

It's a sad state of affairs when another country honors your heroes more than you do. Obama and his thugs are a sick bunch.
