what does that have to do with denying me the right to donate blood because is was born with a different sexual orienation from you?
They will do anything and everything to justify discrimination against gays. Using some of their arguments on this thread, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them wanted separate water fountains for gay men.
It sure is since i didn't do anything wrong to not be able too. I don't stand for stuff like that since it's not right
Since you are a Christian and you are in pastoral counseling classes, would you advise a gay man--or a former IV drug abuser or a now-cured hepatitis patient--to lie to the blood donation center employee about their male/male sexual encounters, their previous drug abuse history or their history of having had hepatitis in order to be accepted as a blood donor?

well it depends on if they any diseases. I'd tell someone like ME to donate blood BEFORE a promiscuous heterosexual. being gay is an orientation not a behavior
don't recall claiming it was. Do recall that discrimination is illegal on the federal level and that the government can't have laws that apply unequally to any group of people.
The reasoning behind denying homosexual men the ability to give blood was a reaction to the HIV scare when HIV and AID could not be screened. Now it can, so the reason to deny them the ability to give blood seems nonsensical.
