The Dalai Lama once said the best argument against christianity are christian themselves.

GW Bush was a born-again christian who claimed he loved Jesus and that he actually spoke with God. Then he declared war on a nation that had nothing to do with 9/11 and killed 500k- 1 million Iraqis with 5000 Americans dying and scores of Americans disabled.

Then there was Baker who bilked grandmothers out of their last twenty's wagging his finger and calling everyone sinners. He was caught in the backseat of his car with a lady of the night.

Ted Haggard, noted evangelist, quoted on a documentary saying that unless you believe in Jesus and follow his word you are going to hell. Shortly thereafter he was caught playing with the choir boys.

The recent attack in Norway by Breivik is described as a right wing christian fundamentalist.

Candidate Bachmann another born again who says she will abolish gay rights if elected.

This list could go on forever. I have no problem with so-called christians mostly because I believe if they behave this badly with the threat of going to hell what would they be like without it. Yet they have the right to worship anyway they wish. The problem is they don't keep it to themselves and continually try to impose their beliefs on others. The US was founded on freedom. The freedom to have religion and the freedom not to believe religion. The bottom line here is that christians should just
mine their own business. In the meantime if you are approached by a person claiming to be a christian, especially a born-again christian, keep one hand on your wallet and, well you ought to know where to keep your other hand.

DID I CALL THAT OR WHAT!!!

You realize there are 3B Christians on the planet. The only way you can justify hating Christians is if your list is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY long. Like REALLY to the 100th power long. For every so-called BAD Christian I can give you a hundred good ones. The population, as a whole, includes about 95% rational, peace loving people no matter what their belief system is. It's that 5% who radicalize everything -- the Extremists!

So, go right on justifying the hate towards 3B people with a handful of quotes and your pick from the list reasoning for doing so.

I've got news for both of you ... Hitler was a leftist, so was Stalin, Mao, all of our historic, rampaging, murderous authoritarian figures of the 20th Century .... called themselves either Fascists, Communists or Socialists. And all have two things in common ... all of them clearly represented TOTALITARIANISM and they were all LEFTISTS.

Now I don't blame you for not knowing this, because you are a product of leftist-liberal re-education camps, and too much Fluoride and Mercury from the leftist forced vaccination programs and medicating our water against our will (or with consent by means of deception). This is probably why you firmly believe UP is actually DOWN. But I'm here to tell you the truth .... UP is not DOWN, as shocking as that may seem at first. And the best place to start in order to sort all of this out is the word "Hypocrisy" .

Hypocrisy is a term leftists don't like to talk about too much because it defines the act of condemning another for the very same actions and behavior for which they regularly engage in. Or more simply, claiming to believe in one thing, while doing the exact opposite. And nothing fits that description better than a Leftist-Progressive-Liberal claiming that someone else is interfering in THEIR lives .. or forcing them to comply with a set of rules or values against THEIR will.

The reality is, the left are always dreaming up good reasons to tell people what they can and cannot do, all "for the greater good" (famous last words of every authoritarian dictator). But they only do these things because it's the right thing to do .... whether it's mandatory health care insurance, mandatory vaccines, mandatory water fluoridation, and an endless list of government nanny state rules and regulations that mandate proper behavior. The big clue here is the term "mandatory". When ever you hear that term, you can bet that someone, somewhere is taking it upon themselves to make a decision for you, whether you like it or not.

And those decisions may even involve what you can or cannot say. After all, some words are just offensive ... like God, and must not be spoken. There are many such common English language terms that must be banned, because it might offend somebody ... and of course, that can't be tolerated. Of course we embrace freedom of speech .... and we're only too happy to provide you with a list of acceptable words you may say whenever you like.

And we must ban Guns too ... they are dangerous, and it doesn't matter what that silly Constitution says, we on the Left know what's best for everyone, and Gun ownership cannot be tolerated. Too risky. This ain't the wild west anymore, Kemo Sabe. Besides .... I bet you didn't know that the Lone Ranger and Tonto were ... uhhh ... a little more than just friends ... did ya?

Next, we have to ban tobacco too. It's bad for you, so you can't have it. Why? Because .... you remember that health care insurance our great leader forced you to buy? Well, if you smoke, you may cost the system more, and that's unfair to the rest of us ... so you can't do anything the rest of us feel is bad for your health. Trust us ... we know what is best .... pffff .. if you knew what was best, you wouldn't smoke those nasty things.

National Standards for education - we have decided that your children must be taught certain things ... even if you don't think it's appropriate ... like Sex and Homosexuality ... starting in 2nd grade. Forget this business of reading and writing and the ABC's ... or "jack and Jill went up the hill... " ... what about Jack and Bill went up the hill? Got a problem with Jack and Bill having a relationship? Look, these kids need to learn how to be tolerant, so they don't grow up to be bigots and homophobes like those dreaded Christians parents of theirs. And no better time to start than when they are very, very young and most susceptible to indoctrina ... err .... Education, and before their parents can brainwash them with all of that religious dogma. Don't worry, by the time they finish college, most of them will find the time to learn how to read and write, but we must prioritize ... first things first!

Freedom of Religion - we embrace a better idea ... "freedom from religion" ... because there are so many wacky ideas about morality and right and wrong ... it's just oppressive ... and we believe that the only way to protect freedom of choice is to eliminate that crazy talk of morality. Some of these religious nuts actually think that there is a set of ten rules that people should respect and honor ... like "thou shalt not kill, or steal, or commit adultery. Now that's taking things a little too far ... telling people not to commit adultery, ha! ... who do these people think they are, anyway? I'll tell you ... they think that marriage is between a man and a women, and that people shouldn't cheat on their wives and husbands ... and that Jack and Bill shouldn't be walking up that hill ... that's who they are! These fanatics are always trying to tell people what to do, and how to live.

Crazy christian zealots .... give them an inch, and the next thing you know, they're whipping out that bible like a common citizen whipping out one of those banned pistols ... yikes!! Don't point either one of those things at me ... one of them might go off!

Ha! Morality, smorality ... we've got rights, you know? Now, put out that darn cigarette before you kill all of us!! Besides, all that nasty smoke is contributing to Global Warming, and it smells bad.

Yay Freedom!
Hitler was a nationalist. Nationalistic ideologies are on the right. Don't bother replying, I know you've bought this garbage from some revisionists hook line and sinker. I'm only rebutting because someone has to say outright that this is garbage. If you reply, I won't bother wasting my time arguing with you. The Nazi's weren't socialists, Hitler purged the party of socialists as soon as he gained control. The socialists in Germany belonged to the socialist democratic party, which he attacked and drove underground. Hitler wasn't friends with communists, he hated communists. He was friends with big business, which is part of why so many big American industrialists actually supported him. Yeah, reality!!!!

It's been about a year since we've had a feel sorry for me, I'm the majority religion in the US.

If people are finally pushing back, it's well about time. In fact, it's past time.
How's it feel to get a bit of your own medicine? Hmmmm?

Are you serious? Gee, maybe we should put all Christians in concentration camps. That'll really teach them a lesson.

And I said or alluded to your hyperbole exactly where?
Nice tales you're making up; ridiculous at best.

Blinded by faith, nothing like it.

My friend renault ... Well Said As Usual !

One special day in perhaps the not to distant future these very folks will be on bended knees and acknowledging that God's only Son and our Savior Jesus Christ is Lord !!! What A Day That Will Be !!!!!!!!!!!

Let them rant and rave and condemn away ... The Holy Bible has already depicted they would do this and it has proven to be so true !!!

This bunch had better think about the consequences of what they are doing before it is much tro late to change the outcome !!!!

The rise of NON-Christianphobia is the real danger here.

The Norway bomber has been identified by the local Keystone Cops as a "Christian fundamentalist" (still unconfirmed at this time) which the mainstream media dutifully inserted into the headlines of their pro-Islam/anti-Christian narrative.

You could almost hear the huge sigh of relief from news editors as they now how free reign to negatively stereotype all white Christian males as being as violent and dangerous to society as Anders Behring Breivik.

This is the same media that went to great lengths to NOT identify Nidal Malik Hasan as a Muslim, and the Obama government had even redacted the words "Islam" and "Muslim" from the official Fort Hood report.

Be prepared for the latest Christian backlash and negative stereotyping by the tolerant Left. Attacks against Christians are becoming more acceptable and widespread in our progressive society as the media continues to condone anti-Christian bigotry via their editorializing while protecting for their chosen religious cult, Islam.

The media is also describing the Norway bomber as being on an "anti-muslim Crusade" which can only further inflame tensions between the West and Middle East. It's as if the Leftist media WANTS more bloody terrorist acts to occur- it is the only way to get people to pay for and read their dying newspapers or visit their websites so they can charge you through a Paywall. Any opportunity to stoke the public's fears so Anderson Cooper can get higher ratings.

NYT Sees Danger After 'Christian Extremist' Attack in Norway, But 'Understanding' for 2005 Muslim Bombers of London

Will the Left Blame Conservatives and the Tea Party for the Norway Tragedy?

Answer: sadly, yes. Extreme Leftist sites such as Salon are already trying to pin Breivik's beliefs and violent actions on ALL conservatives, Republicans, right-wingers, Tea Partiers, etc. -

Right-wingers blame multiculturalism, abortion for Norway massacre

You only reinforce my assertion that people are hating for singular reasons.

May I remind you of Pekka Eric Auvinen, a devout athiest, who murdered 8 and woulded 10 in Finland a few years back. Tit for tat.

For every one, I'll give you ten.

Atheist Atrocities - two or three . net (http://www.twoorthree.net/2006/11/atheist_atrocit.html - broken link)

Atheism has been the cause of more sorrow, human atrocity and death, then from all religions combined. Joseph Stalin comes to mind.
