What's false about what he wrote exactly? He's stating his opinion about real events.

I think of a sociopath as being without empathy for other people to the extent that one can murder and feel no remorse.

The police has asked for a closed hearing, but this will be the judge's decision. According to Norwegian law, the hearing may be closed under certain circumstances.

Don't know if this could be considered remorse but reportedly he said to his lawyer the massacre was "atrocious" but "necessary". At the very least he knows what he did was wrong and thus doesn't really fit into traditional definitions of a sociopath. Sometimes folks do really bad things but are perfectly sane.

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian man accused of carrying out one of the worst massacres in Europe since World War II, has taken responsibility for the rampage, telling his lawyer that the killings were "atrocious" but "necessary."

The conclusions he draws from his words and his belief that by killing innocent people he can correct his perceived injustice. There are probably a number of both psychotic delusions and pathological conditions present in this very angry homicidal man. There is a distinction made in a moral code and a legal code that define his words and actions differently. If he published his manifesto and let it be that is legal and moral. The belief that he is justified in killing people is not. The actions define his mental illness, not his words.

You are most likely partly accurate. The fact that he was delusional at times has not yet revealed itself though I think that it will e.g. reorganizing the knights of templar.

this guy is a right wing extremist as much as Stalin is a Left wing Extremist, their political views did not cause the attack, they were insane, coupled with their political views caused a mass murder, abeit stalins was bigger cause he was in power.
