And that is a valid argument. One that can be debated with facts. You can call the President, congress, our system of government a failure. That I have no problem with.
But when an OP complains that the President is name calling, blatantly ignoring their own party and people they support in the process, thats being hypocritical.
I don't have a party. I am unaffiliated. I voted for Obama.
Republicans say its always the other sides fault. During the Bush administration, it was always the Democratic congresses fault after 2006.
Thats just Washington, and its been that way since Kennedy was in the white house. Politicians get on TV and say "Its the other guys fault" and never take any action themselves.
Even the debt ceiling, Republicans said it was all Democrats fault, Democrats said it was all Republicans fault. I say it was everyones fault, and if you disagree with that, you are either being blatantly ignorant, or have mental comprehension problems.
It's not just saying it's the other sides fault that is so much the issue. It is his direct insults he spews. He is always angry and trying to vilify everyone else. If he just said I disagree with the other sides policy on this issue and here is why my policy would work better, that would be great. But to name call, insult and try to scare the elderly is uncalled for.
You sir are dishonest. Thier is no way you ever supported this man who you now hate as much as any extreme right winger I have ever heard speak.
You can think what you want, but the fact is I did vote for him. I was worn out with Bush and I was extremely upset with his liberal spending policies and nation building. I fell hook, line and sinker for Obama's golden tongue when he was not so negative. I still do not hate Obama. As far as I can tell he is an excellent husband and father. That is to be respected. It is his policies, like Bush but on steroids, that I am absolutely against. Then topping it off with his extremely negative attitude, well that's a turn off.
America should split! Let the conservatives and religious form their own country!
Well I am a fiscal conservative, but I am not religious. As a matter of fact, I would strip all religous groups of their tax exempt status. They are just money making outfits IMO. Separation of church and state should apply.
No, you just can't handle someone who is not stuck in one party's ideology. It does not compute with you. There is no need for me to go on and on about Bush now, as he has not been the POTUS in quite some time. Obama is the one who holds that position and is doing an awful job. ANY independent person can clearly see that.
To be honest, have you seen the gridlock and name-calling Congress is doing??
Oh, my how quickly we've forgotten the wonderful cooperative atmosphere of the Clinton years, draft dodging pot smoking, White Water, Vince Foster and pyrrhic impeachments notwithstanding, of course.
Certainly, both parties do it and the ones who do it are the ones who get the press. The ones being good little boys and girls are the ones doing what they are supposed to do, like adults, and largely go unnoticed. This is why I vote for the person and not the party. One thing though... if one side does it, that doesn't give permission for the other side to do it. Its the "he hit me first" sysdrome. If it is wrong to hit someone, it is wrong weather you do it first of second.

I agree, and a good level headed approach to voting by a fellow Tennessean
Rather than speaking of how great America is and how wonderful it is to have varying opinions on things, why does Obama personally attacked people who think differently than him? Why is he so angry? Why does he vilify people? Why does he try to make everything a crisis by scaring people? Why does he try to scare the elderly all the time?
Obama is an embarassment to America. I disagree with most of his policies, as I did Bush, but this is the first time in my life I have seen a sitting POTUS act as embarassing as this.
I miss the days of POTUS's who could rally ALL Americans together and talk about what we CAN do. That is probably the most important thing a POTUS does and Obama get's a F- on that.
Because he has a black chip on his shoulder.
