Imagine what could be done if the GOP would work at helping rather than preventing. In spite of the polls, I guess they don't think the American people see what they are doing.

Good point. Methinks they believe they know what's good for the country better than we do.

They don't have a good record for voting for anything that would create jobs, do they. I wonder how they will vote on Obama's latest proposal announced today to help unemployed military veterans.

President Barack Obama is asking Congress to approve new initiatives to help some of America's 1 million unemployed military veterans find work, including tax credits for companies that hire out-of-work vets.

_ A "Returning Heroes" tax credit for 2012-2013. Companies that hire unemployed veterans would receive a $2,400 tax credit. That tax credit would increase to $4,800 if the veteran has been unemployed for six months or more.

Do you pay your bills? What happens when you just keep borrowing and borrowing to pay them? Sooner or later we have to pay up!!!

What type of jobs do you think the government is going to create for the masses of unemployed ?

Are you expecting more government jobs to be created ?

No need to wonder.. its a stupid, ridiculous, job killing bill. When companies get tax credits for "military veterans", this means they wont hire people who are not military veterans. I thought we wanted to make things better for all americans, not just a select few? Ooh I get it, you think this will create jobs.. WRONG.. You guys cant seem to get anything right..

Why don't we wait and see how they "adjust" next week. It always happens. And it's always bad news. And it's always buried by the mainstream media.
