There is nothing shocking in the video. Identifying gatekeepers and using their connections to influence others is a very standard persuasive technique, widely used in politics, marketing/sales, and public relations. Karl Rove used it to great effect during his tenure as political advisor to George W. Bush.

Way back when I was in college getting my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education, I can tell you the pathetic truth that I remember not one class in how to teach math. I do recall having a "Values Clarification" class. I remember we all had to bring in 3 things from home that we valued and would reveal something about us. Then we sat in a big circle and took turns "sharing" our items. We also had exercises involving listening to a story involving several characters who each had to make "difficult moral" decisions. Then we had to try and rank them on who made the least offensive choices finally coming to the group conclusion that there is no absolute "right" or "wrong."

Iserbyt worked within the Reagan Adminitration. She was fired for being a Whistle Blower. She has written a well documented book called, "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America." Lengthy, but worth the read.

The problem with education is that there too many of us are listening to sensitive and weak people. Once they are in charge everything goes to the dumps because they are easily manipulated by the wolves.

Actually, don't even talk about him when you have as much trouble with spelling as you do.

Great Post! Yes. It is the PLAN of the elites to DUMB DOWN Americans as they will be easier to control if they can't think. Charlotte Iserbyt was Reagan's Education Advisor and in that position discovered how the agendas of the elites has resulted in the atrophying of our Educational system beginning 65 years or so ago. Before that, schools actually tried to teach to each pupil's strengths. Now it is all about teaching to the lowest common denominator and dumbing down everyone so they can barely read or write or think and MUST rely on the main stream media for everything.

We certainly know it is true when it comes to who to vote for. We can't choose who we like best, like sheep we choose either the Republican or the Democratic Candidate who the media tells us is "electable" (translation = who THEY want us to vote for)!

Be honest! Are you a sheeple-- easily guided by the Media or can you THINK FOR YOURSELF? HINT: You are a sheeple if you voted for McCain or Obama last election and did so without REALLY LIKING them.

Very true. Iserbyt's book is well documented. Amazing, eye opening read.
