My American Dream:

1. Capitalism is destroyed. No more owners and workers. I use my free time to feed myself, to educate myself, to shelter myself, to enjoy the company of other people, to appreciate what nature has to offer us. No more slave wage life for me. No more slavery to the market system.

2. All industrial production and fossil fuel usage ceases to exist.

3. Currency is abolished. My value as a human being no longer has a dollar sign.

4. US ends its imperial domination of the globe by pulling troops out in Middle East and closing all overseas military bases.

5. People learn to feed themselves by growing their crops.

6. People learn to build shelter and make clothing for themselves.

7. All laws benefiting the wealthy and white people in this country would be abolished.

8. Women would no longer be considered separate and unequal to men.

9. A society built on cooperation instead of competition.

10. Put corporate executives and politicians on trial for crimes against the United States and humanity. The death penalty is warranted here.

I don't know. This is a good start for the American Dream.

My story is similar except I started working younger and raised four kids.... I think my life fits quite nicely in the American Dream.

So yes, the Dream is alive and well, and millions have achieved it and millions more will achieve it every year.

Bwahaha... this was covered in the first two pages of The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith.

Right. Then none of what you want to do in number one will happen. None of it.

No, you'll have a tattoo on your forehead with how much you're worth. Maybe you'll get lucky and have $666.66 on yours.

See number 2.

LOL. People can't feed themselves when they can go to Walmart and buy whatever they need to do so.

See number 5.

Ahhh... the real Black Liberation Theology makes its ugly way to the surface.

Women rule the freaking world, evolution and control the drive of the species and you want to concentrate even more power in their hands?

You better selectively murder about 3 billion people if you're going to achieve that. And then murder anyone who speaks out against it. And then kill anyone who even speaks of it.

It'd be more fun to put 313 million Americans on trial for purposely avoiding their political system and causing it to completely collapse because of their apathy.

No it's not. It's a "start over" in hopes that it will turn out differently. You don't get that space-time back no matter how much you want it.

The American Dream has become a nightmare on steroids! Its now not about what you can retire on but your survival. And the Gov't of, by and for the people has become a New World Order Socialist Police State that is enacting tyranny NOT freedom.

The Federal Government Declares War on the Nation

My guess is the American Dream now is simple.

TO HAVE A JOB

What do you think the American Dream is now?

Kind of like Al Pacino in "Scarface", but not getting killed in the end.

The American dream is what immigrants envisioned when on their way to America.

A minute after they had landed, it was all gone.

We aren't renting. It is owned. And to add to the American nightmare, under the premise that there was no chinese drywall in the home, it would still be only worth about 2/5ths of what my roommate paid for it.

As long as the choice to live like this list is up to the INDIVIDUAL and not FORCED upon others, it would be fine with me. Some items on the list appeal to me.

However, the part in red is deeply disturbing. I would hate to leave my own house if I knew there were people out there with that much hate and anger at another human being. Besides, I love my corporate executive because he runs the company well enough to employ me.

I would love to hear about #7. What laws are out there to benefit only white people? I assume you would want to be fair and eliminate all laws that benefit minorities as well, like affirmative action and such right? I mean we should ALL be treated as EQUALS!
