So much for fox, the other right wing outlets and their minions trying to bash Obama over taking some vacation days. At the same time in their presidency,

Reagan: 112 days on vacation

W: A whopping 180

Obama: Only 61

Clinton bottoms the list with only 28.

Really shows those on the left are ready to work. The right? not so much.

As I remember, GWB even kept right on vacationing through the Katrina crisis.

The image of Bush on an extended stay away from the White House while Katrina flattened much of the Gulf Coast and left New Orleans engulfed by floodwater proved to be a defining moment of his presidency.

I don't know about the rest of the anti-Obama crowd, but I'd prefer it if Obama went on as much vacation as possible. Preferably, indefinately.

The facts won't stop Fox from smearing Obama.

Fox is dedicated to only broadcasting lies.
They keep on pushing it just to see how brain dead their watchers really are.
I have never in my life seen anything quite like it. Why anyone would watch or listen to such a load of garbage day in and day out has got to be one of those real unsolvable mysteries

Um, no:

"The younger Bush spent 180 days on vacation at this same point in his presidency when compared to Obama, who so far has taken 61, according to CBS News. Ronald Reagan's vacation days numbered 112 and Bill Clinton had just 28."

I don't care how much vacation time he takes, but this is a weak argument. Neither Reagan or Bush was faced with the worst economy since the depression.

ALso, what has been described as vacations for Bush and Regan was simply working at the Western White House, neither guy were big Washington people.

Crawford Texas is a little different than 50K a week martha's vineyard with a 14 trillion dollar deficit and a 40 vehicle convoy with a million dollar bus made in canada.

His timing is terrible and he should come back to work with congress and pass a balance budget amendment

Nope, this is going off the exact same times in their presidencies. If you want to go with totals, W was on vacation an unheard of 977 days, almost three full years on vacation.
