This should be considered child abuse. I have never been against gays adopting children, but this is outrageous and simply proves the concerns of those who are opposed to gay couples adopting.
Suppose someone wanted to surgically change thier child to add additional appendages or make them look like Frankenstein. Would that be anyone's buisness?
This is what we call child abuse and of course it is the buisness of society.

That is the business of CPS, and I would add the childs doctors, not mine and not yours.

Who is "surgically changing their child" They are blocking the onset of puberty. No surgery. If the child changes their mind, the process can be reversed, and normal puberty will start.
This is exactly why we need to study and eventually medically treat people with the mental disorder of homosexuality. I'm all for gay couples adopting but not when they allow their mental condition to spread over to adopted children. Hormone blocking at 11 years old to prevent puberty? Come the F on now.
The condition doesn't spread. Being gay is not a disease.
Being gay also doesn't make this happen. You can't blame the the gays this time....
This boy was born like this and even without them doing this and the gay parents he would have had problems later on in life.
