I think those "white" kids selected the wrong majors in college.
Their problem is that their goals were too idealistic.
And so, instead of majoring in something practical like accounting or education or engineering something science based computer or whatever, so they could meet their needs and have a F****NG weekend hobby of being a social activist they're F***ED with the sky high loans from their private liberal arts colleges.
That's what they get.
An acquaintance of mine is a 49 year old engineer. A specialist in chemical engineering, with degrees from outstanding universities. His name is Joe and he lives in Bucks County, PA. He was laid off his job. Was out of work for over a year.
They are marching for a totalitarian communist government which gives everything to some by taking lots away from others who earned it.
They are being bussed in by unions. SHOCKER!
Maybe if you get out your white sheets and hood and burn some crosses you'll scare them off!

I support the protest against the corrupt greedsters on Wall Street but I also expect them to be as effective as the protesters in my day were in stopping the Vietnam War. Remember Nixon's secret plan for four more years of war. I certainly do.

Not yet. The reason is this is not a single group with a single goal, I have heard different people from the protest interviewed and some I agree with and some I do not. Thing is, they are making the silent, and mostlty oblivious, Majority aware that there are issues and in my book that is a Good Thing.

You are one of the few who actually get the point of it. A multitude of people with a multitude of desires that they feel they are economically inhibited from pursuing. They know that their parents were not so constrained.
