Can't always tell from the label, but you can from the bar code. The first 3 digits. 1st digit on left by itself and the next 2 to the right.

690-692 ... then it is MADE IN CHINA
00 - 09 ... anything 3rd USA & CANADA
30 - 37 ... anything 3rd FRANCE
40 - 44 ... anything 3rd GERMANY
471 .... Taiwan
49 ... anything 3rd JAPAN
50 ... anything 3rd UK

Good to know, I think.

I buy whatever is cheapest that has the minimum threshold of quality.

As an example, if I want something basic like say a set of wine glasses, why on earth would I spend $15 for a set made in America, when I can go to WalMart and pick up a set--made in China or Mexico, probably--for $4.99?

Sorry, but I'm going with the $4.99.

Perfect for your "Two Buck Chuck".

This is not as bad as drinking wine from a plastic cup.

it kind of doesnt really matter to me as long as the quality is acceptable, and the price is reasonable. but my falcon and my mustang were built in san jose california, and my taurus and my moms sable were built in chicago illinois.

Considering there may be a danger, say buying pet food from China, the lowest price may not be wise, at least for your pet.
