Love it!

"Koch Industries voluntarily decided several years ago to stop sales to Iran, which is the policy Senator Tester wants all U.S. companies to adopt. *Our policy goes beyond what is required under U.S. law, which we urge Senator Tester, the DCCC, and the DSCC to notice.* Senator Tester, while singling out Koch Industries as an example of a U.S. company that had done business in Iran through foreign subsidiaries, omitted the fact that he has accepted numerous campaign contributions from U.S. companies that are apparently either continuing to do business in Iran or that just recently stopped doing business in Iran."

I really don't know that much about Koch Industries. All I know is that the 'Koch Brothers' are constantly bandied about by left-wing haters. It's never quite stated exactly what they did wrong, just that they are this great demonic presence that must be destroyed.

I did find out that they heavily support Reason magazine. That's a great magazine that I have read for years, and supports the opposite of the Corporatism that the OWS types claim to abhor. One other thing I learned about the Koch brothers was their spot-on, courageous response when my corporatist, pork-purveying Senator, Patty Murray, hit them up for a campaign contribution.

That article was a fun read for me. I think I could, with very little effort, list the members of this forum who will never get to the letter from the DSCC that really doesn't apologize for the mistake but takes dig after dig at the Kochs. The last bit about Wisconsin tells anyone with any intelligence at all what really happened there and why. Those people are sad SOBs to a man or woman.

Thanks for that link.

Sometimes politicians just can't keep from stepping in the Pelosi they throw around and this is a beautiful example of that very thing.

The koch brothers are the financial backing of the teabagger (note: not teaparty) whose sole goal is to remove President Obama while eliminating regulation bodies such as the EPA, or any other regulatory governing body that limits the amount of profits that they can make by destroying air and water quality with their massive pulp producing companies.

And this folks, is why the left hates the koch's. Soros is perfectly fine but, the right isn't allowed to do the same thing. See the Tea Party and OWS.
