For the ten-thousandth time. No, he did not violate the law. The law is still being enforced.
Why is it so difficult to understand the difference between not defending a law in court and upholding a law?

Anyway: regarding the OP - excellent news. I expected that DOMA wouldn't survive much past the DADT repeal.

Why does the almighty government have to have their meddling hands in everything we do?? why? can anybody answer this? their only job is to make sure our military is strong(from our tax dollars) and settle disputes in court between individuals. and last time I check Gay marriage was not a court issue. It's a lobby issue.

But if the Gays want to mock God and marry. let them. it's their own souls that will bear the results of such actions. I can only be concerned with my own soul making it to heaven. the rest can burn.

Leviticus 18:22 - "You shall not lie with a man, as with a woman: it is abomination.

^the Bible speaking directly to homosexuals right here.

Do you mean churches like Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama?

The religious far right wing's mantra is we want a smaller and less intrusive government intertwined with religion.

What cracks me up is this same faction wants to peek into every American's bedroom and tell us who we can sleep with and what we can do in our "said bedrooms". To me that sounds pretty intrusive>>>>>>

Then they say we need to lower the budget deficit but want to spend $1,500,000.00 of our tax money defending the unconstitutional D.O.M.A.......this in some twisted way will help close the budget gap......

It seems the religious right wants special privileges in that they feel compelled to push their religious beliefs into politics and our government....thereby denying the rights of others to practice the religion of their choice and/or no religion at all......clearly this is immoral, condescending/judgemental and most importantly....UNCONSTITUTIONAL!

Homosexuals brainwashing our children in elementary schools

Yep, bigoted heterosexuals are running around sticking our noses in homosexual's private affairs, like telling them to not indoctrinate our kids in the public elementary schools.

ROFLMFAO.......last time I checked this country was NOT a Theocracy.

You may believe what you wish; but you have NO right to impose your religious beliefs onto me or anyone else!!!! It's just that SIMPLE!!!!!

Nice attitude at the end there...I assure you I'll be right behind you....as that line zaps right over your head.
