Small things that American citizens seem to forget..........

"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy. Its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.."
-- Winston Churchill

These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read (Unfortunately, most American voters don't know this):

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, By legislating the wealth out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, Another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them;
And when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, Because somebody else is going to get what they work for,
that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Small things the American people don't know when they hear the program of the GOP:

All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.

Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.

Fascism, the more it considers and observes the future and the development of humanity, quite apart from political considerations of the moment, believes neither in the possibility nor the utility of perpetual peace.

It is the State which educates its citizens in civic virtue, gives them a consciousness of their mission and welds them into unity.

The fate of nations is intimately bound up with their powers of reproduction. All nations and all empires first felt decadence gnawing at them when their birth rate fell off.

The function of a citizen and a soldier are inseparable.

The keystone of the Fascist doctrine is its conception of the State, of its essence, its functions, and its aims. For Fascism the State is absolute, individuals and groups relative.

Benito Mussolini

Bravo. Now actually link the GOP to fascism and you may have a point. As is, your post says nothing.

As for the merger of the state and corporate power that you bolded, that's actually more about the Democrats than the Republicans. Democrats are more invested in crony capitalism than Republicans. The degregulation the Democrats harp on makes for free markets while your tighter regulations on business you're also always touting make for crony capitalism as overregulation bars entry into the market, stifles small companies, and thus marries large corporations to the state.

You cannot starve them into submission either as the right wing nuts think they can.

2. What one person receives without working for, Another person must work for without receiving.
What one person recieves without working for it is a below poverty lifestyle and many work here for such low pay that they recieve only hardship and suffering to pay for the wealthy in tax while the wealthy recieve in huge tax breaks and loopholes.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
The role of any Govt. is to use our tax for the benefit of ALL not just the benefit of the wealthy and big corporations.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
You cannot multiply wealth by keeping it in swiss bank accounts and overseas slush funds.

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them;
And when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, Because somebody else is going to get what they work for,

When the wealthy realise that the USA is not their personal 'kindergarden" and that by making sure that ALL Americans have faith in the society and are not just left to "rot, productivity rises, the wealth and health and education and the fabric of the Society gets better.
The Wealthy hiding their vast wealth, which is obtained by greed and on the backs of every single American, in their private funds or their homes abroad or foreign bank accounts etc etc helps no one but the wealthy "fat cats" and indeed gives very little back to society or even the USA.
