Article 1, Section 1:

All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Dictators cannot make laws in this nation of the People, by the people, for the people.

Yet Obama blames Congress for not passing his legislation???
Why stick to the Constitution, now? He is on a roll!

Obama said in a recent speech that he has his staff looking for ways to cicumvent congress to get parts of his jobs bill enacted immediately.

This is a clever tactic with which he will portray the 'caring president' who will fight the evil republican house of representatives who are blocking him to do what it right for the American public.

Sadly...most Americans will be stupid enough to fall for it hook, line and sinker.

Crickets....

It is not the Presidents place in our Government to create laws! Period.

We do not have a KING and we are certainly not a Dictatorship style of governance.
Only the ignorant and foreign immigrants feel we have a supreme ruler.

Executive orders are constitutional and have been used for over 200 years. W alone used 291 of them.

If you read the bill, you would have seen that is was sponsored by Senator Reid (both S. 1549 and S. 1666), not President Obama. Neither bill had any co-sponsors and neither passed the Senate much less the House.

There are also 41 pieces of legislation pertaining to American jobs. The three most likely candidates are:
  • H.R. 1744 - The "American Job Protection Act" of 2011, sponsored by Rep. Boustany, Charles W., Jr. [LA-7]. Introduced May 5, 2011 with 166 co-sponsors;
  • S. 20 - The "American Job Protection Act" of 2011, sponsored by Sen. Hatch, Orrin G. [UT]. Introduced January 25, 2011 with 35 co-sponsors.; or
  • S. 1720 - The "Jobs Through Growth Act" of 2011, sponsored by Sen. McCain, John [AZ]. Introduced October 17, 2011 with 37 co-sponsors.
Obama is further demonstrating his inexperience and naivete. He should have known that 95% of the bills introduced in Congress never pass to become law.

Executive Orders, as the name clearly states, applies only to the Executive Branch. A President cannot dictate public law, for example, or in any way effect the Judicial Branch via Executive Order.

Obama was a professor and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.
I would think President Obama is very familiar with the constitution and what he can and cant do within its legal boundaries...
