Mainly, these people are spoiled brats. A lot of them have read all the books on how to overwhelm the system. Violence is not out of the question for these lefties. As usual.
Girls fall in love with all kinds of things, like Donny Osmand, horses, idealistic causes and Socialist revolutionaries.
A lot of the guys are there because they think it will get them chicks.
What does Occupy Wall Street want? Even THEY don't know!
This is almost comical. They hate leadership and hierarchy so much, they refuse to even have their own leaders. All they have is their anger and their bitterness. With no direction and no focus, OWS will self-destruct.

I am somewhat sympathetic to OWS. (Someone has to point out that it's the banks that crashed this country.) However, I agree with you. The Left is idiotic when it buys into the dream of a vague leader-less movement that will somehow "change" "something." The Right has recently bought into this utopion fantasy though too with the Tea Party .
If you want to change something, you have to be very specific about what it is you want changed and how you want to achieve it. Then, you have to raise billions of dollars and buy yourselves some congressmen to enact the changes you want. Be sure to break it down and make it simple for them. They have a lot on their plates and they like to golf more than they like to think, so they demand you make your agenda easy for them to understand.
It's not much of an organization if they can't focus on a purpose for their existence. Right now, their primary purpose seems to be putting on displays of anger through civil disobedience, violence, and intimidation.
If their aim is to have a cool social club, they don't -- but if they actually want to accomplish something, they have to define what it is they want to accomplish. You don't get somewhere without first charting a course. Leaders are necessary for keeping things moving toward the objective.

I agree. That's only going to get them so far. They have sucessfully built up some good will and sympathy -- they need figure out something postive to do with that "social capital" before they squander it or literally s*** it away.
Leaderless and no demands. What have they been doing for the past 8 weeks???? Oh, yeah, squatting.
If, just thinking aloud, they managed to identify their "demands", and had an opportunity to present them to a "board", do all of them expect to show up and speak one at a time?? or are they going to do a "mic check"???
