It's also extremely sad when the only positive thing liberals can point out about Barney Frank is that he has a (D) next to his name.

And so you think Barney Frank advertises meeting in rest stops?

The ignorance here is astounding.

Never said that now did I? Spinning in the breeze already. Not a shock.

It takes a lot of work to run a bordello out of your kitchen.

What does working hard have to do with his documented failures?
I am sure he worked hard working out his Fannie payment terms, huh.

Working hard does not mean that one is doing the job well.

The immaturity of some on this thread is unbelievable. Thank G-d homophobes are not welcome in my state and are rightfully called out on their vile, often self hating sentiments.

As a Massachusetts resident, I know I join the vast majority of my fellow residents in wishing Barney Frank all the best in his retirement and thanking him for representing our state well (and showing once again why Massachusetts is one of the best states in the country). Though he does not represent my district, he is a great friend of many of the important issues facing our country, including the broken healthcare system, women's health (particularly the women in our armed services and veterans), environment, and ending the wasteful war on drugs. I have faith that his district will elect another staunch supporter of our progressive values.
