I have a greater appreciation for Hilary Clinton after watching this historically pathetic version of the Republican party. She's absolutely right. Unfortunately, this country is now living through the most idiotic and worthless version of the bigoted Conservative ideology since slavery. Quite a shame.

Kudos to Hilary. There isn't one person in the Republican party who could compare to her.

Good OP

I dont get where homopobes like santorum always act like what an American family is, or is not is "taugtht" in schools.

I dont recall schools ever teaching anything regarding this. Nor should they. No one has a clue what "American families are supposed to be" divorce rate is over 60%, its not the schools nor any politicians place to get involved.

Because Hillary Clinton is a glorified housewife.

Being on the wrong side of history is kind of the point of being a social conservative Republican.

It's where you go to find a whole host of others that also enjoy being on the wrong side of history.

And yet, more accomplished, successful and well known than anyone here.

Imagine that.

If you plan to vote for The Won in 2012 you better make sure that he is the candidate because I think that Bill and Hillary are hiding out till some of her latest piles of Pelosi get her ahead of the progressive who finally admitted to being one of those things. Hillary could sneak in past Obama, like it or not. Either of them will move us along to big government control that eases closer to communism so I hope you enjoy all that equality of things they want.
Hmmm. Hillary did not defeat Obama in 08'. I imagine you think that Obama has done so badly in four years that people will be inclinded to re-think things. First you have to define "badly". IMO the classic definition of a Conservative is someone continually surprised and angry that people don't see things their way. You see Obama as having done phenomenally badly in running America. Maybe you should question that.

I hope you don't mind me picking on you Roy. I think your shoulders are wide enough to handle a little targeted heat. This is the perfect thread to ask you, point blank, what you mean by "communism". I mean... Roy... you can't tell me that as you see the world around you... as you hear the news reports daily... as you get the skinny from friends and family around town and elsewhere... do you think that the status quo Capitalist America is GOOD for the average American? Now, I'm far from saying that Communism is the answer but... is a continuation of our present system of deepening the divide between a 1% and the rest of humanity.... rational????

By Communist do you mean Cuba? China? The U.S.S.R.? Those countries were Totalitarian Facist Dictatorships, they were not, are not, Communist. Nor Socialist for that matter. You know this Roy. I know you do. America has a billionaire for every million people. America has 1/3 of its people in some kind of poverty. The Netherlands would have 17 billionaires if they had billionaires at the per capita rate of the U.S. I don't believe they have any at all. At most, one. Most Americans don't think this is important. Most Americans think dying because you cannot afford dental care is a bad thing but... it was the dead guys fault for not having gone to college. Well there is this. There is no college in the U.S. that doesn't cost at least 8K/yr. Even the finest University in the Netherlands is absolutely free to its citizens. The Netherlands is not Communist. They aren't strictly Socialist either. Progressive Democratic is a good way of describing how they distribute wealth but Progressive has a bad conotation in America as well.

I saw someone opine on this forum about the fact that their son might possibly become a billioniare. Yah. This is what fuels their hatred for OWS. A Progressive America would see to it that the creation of future billionaires is sharply curtailed. I get that this might disappoint those with billioinaire aspirations, but... as I look around (the world)... the places where billionaires are plentiful.... mehh... not such great places to live.... Forgive me, then, if I wonder out loud exactly what good is a billionaire and why do we love them so much. Back to you, Roy, please, tell me, us, what does Communism mean to you and how is America (in your opinion) in danger of becoming Communist if Hillary (or Obama) win the White House in 2012?
