Question for Arus: Are atheists religious intolerant? When the ACLU files lawsuits against a private company for statements or actions, are they religious intolerant?

Far too many. But argument by logical fallacy usually just spins everyone in circles.

The issue is not which religious group is more evil (or better), but rather does Lowe's have a right as a private corporation to spend their advertising dollars where they choose to. I believe they do. I don't believe Congress has a right to say anything about it. If you (or I) don't like Lowe's decision, we shop at Home Depot or Ace or Orchard Supply. Simple as that.

I think Lowe's was wrong to pull their ads, but that is one opinion.

That being said, I was very surprised that they caved into the paranoid delusions of this group.
I always thought that it was a smartly run business; clearly that is not the case, particularly if they didn't expect to get some backlash for their decision.
I agree. I think they are being ridiculous, but they have every right to be.
That being said, it makes my decision to go to Home Depot all the easier.

Or patron a smaller local hardware/lumber store instead.

A bit of perspective:
Jesus condoned nothing of the kind.
Muhammad did; encouraged it, even.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you could point out where I am referring to any show in my post,
let alone someone on said show converting to any given religion.

To me, this is the reason I'm so angry at Lowe's "The retail giant stopped advertising on TLC's "All-American Muslim" after a conservative group known as the Florida Family Association complained, saying the program was "propaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda's clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values". Who the hell are Florida Family Association to make such a statement? Sounds rather un-Christian to me.

Seems to me you are angry at Florida Family Association. Transferring the anger to Lowe's, who really just want to avoid being a political football embroiled in controversy, seems silly. If they caved to current pressure now they would be doing the same thing you seem to dislike them for. What can they do to extract themselves from the controversy and just be a home improvement store? Nothing. Because people are using them in ways they don't want to be used. Even you.

Well, the Mormons massacred settlers at the Mountain Meadow Massacre, based on the Mormon's perception of persection over their religious beliefs.
