The media and Hollywood seem to put marijuana in a positive light and we wonder why the usage of it is up?

In countries, like Portugal, use and crime went down after it was decriminalized.

Here we go with the drug war spin police. How exactly is hollywood and media puting marijuana in a positive light? Hell almost every movie out there shows people having drinks, but alcohol use hasn't increased.

It should be put in a positive light. And I don't wonder why usage is up.

You're okay with minors doing drugs and messing up their brains?

If you do it for decades and decades, yes.

But McDonalds and soda, unlike marijuana (or alcohol), don't alter your mental state.

No, it shouldn't be "their choice." They're teenagers.

I never said minors. Those are your words.

And by the way, pot doesn't mess up your brain.

So does Alcohol though. Although it is in a persons best interest to stay away from drugs or drinking. If they want to do it, let them do it. They know the risks, they are aware, they choose to do it anyway. You will never be able to stop them, no matter how many laws we pass.
