May I ask you then, in all sincerity, why have the criminals who stole trillions of dollars from all of us Americans and our future generations not "encountered the police" as yet? Don't you understand what these protests are essentialy about?
Kent State was a lesson learned - for it not to happen again. Maybe you missed how it happened? It was not intentional, it was a thoughtless knee jerk reaction by some kid who shouldn't have a rifle in his hand. Those kids who were there were peaceful demonstrators.
Stop saying perpetual "violence". Look up the definition. If they are guilty of anything its bad behavior which has pretty much been the case. It's this bad behavior that has put people off, I for one.

Not in the least. Unlike most people, I have actually read the law and understand why the overwhelming vast majority of Democrats and Republicans in Congress supported the bill.

Really? Perhaps you need to read again, US citizens are not excluded whatsoever. You see at one time there was a clause in there that gave citizens an exemption and then good 'ole obama wanted that taken out.
With the NDAA YOU lost your 4th, 5th, 6th amendment rights.
