I wonder if anybody knows how much taxpayers' money went to DisneyWorld to pay for shutting down that day. Too darned much went into flying The One down there.

I do agree with a couple people above that we wouldn't see this level of hateful rhetoric directed at the president if Obama was white and didn't have a Muslim sounding name. Most reasonable Americans see through this crap, though.

But why wouldn't you tell her it was the PRESIDENT who was there? Don't you think that might be cool, and give you guys a chance to talk about what this means? My parents would have called that an opportunity to learn and share an unusual experience, not an "inconvenience." Seriously, I wonder if you'd be whining this much over GW (or whatever presidents you've liked) taking the same trip... I'm guessing not.
