My curiosity is why you would take the stand you do. Is it for political reasons? Do you think you are protecting Obama? Or is it just pure ignorance and total control from the mainstream proaganda. What I said was what I read in various tecnical documents ... and I specifically said cirrus clouds and contrails. The documents say -40 but I'm giving more margin and saying -35C. But as I calculated, the air temp above Vegas at 35K feet when the air temp on the ground is above 100F would be much warmer than -35F. I said it would have to be cooler than 70F for cirrus clouds and contrails to be present ... I gave swagger an extra 30F from 70F to 100F.
FWIW - The air temperature in the Stratosphere at 30,000 ft is NOT RELATED to the air temperature at ground level. The ground Temperature only effects the air temperature in the convective zone below 15,000 ft except during very energetic thunderstorms.

I have not heard details on operations being curtailed on high wind days. My guess is it depends on the mission. They probably run simulations before they start so if the mission and simulation allows high winds then they probably continue. If the mission requires strict boundaries then they probably wont continue the mission.
