What do you think of Jane Fonda (or "Hanoi Jane" as she is known to some)?, Politics and Other Controversies Forum, 124 replies
And someone posts their "friend sent me" blather, blather, blather.
Funny how you never bring up Colin Powell and his part in the Mai Lai coverup.
What's the bigger atrocity?
The Consortium But a test soon confronted Maj. Powell. A letter had been written by a young specialist fourth class named Tom Glen, who had served in an Americal mortar platoon and was nearing the end of his Army tour....Glen's letter was forwarded to the Americal headquarters at Chu Lai wher e it landed on Maj. Powell's desk.
Colin Powell: Not the Man You Think Although Powell's attempt to cover up the massacre was unsuccessful, he had at least proven his willingness to do what was necessary to please his bosses. For his two tours of duty in Vietnam, Powell, who was never exposed to serious combat, was awarded the Purple Heart for a minor foot wound he received after stepping on a "punji stick." He was later awarded a Bronze Star for heroism and the Soldiers Medal for pulling two men free from a non-combat related helicopter crash.

Come on! Don't you know that we are ALWAYS the good guys, even if it means backing an illegally elected South Vietnamese president who was every bit as murderous as his enemies, and covering up atrocities?
Here we go again....another one that can't come to terms with the truth.
Oh well, keep hyping yourself up on bad Vietnam movies and a foolish belief that she's the reason that we lost. Hell, she wasn't even part of the reason, but i guess you guys can't deal with that.
Meanwhile, she'll keep living the life at peace with her actions..... a wealthy former movie star while you're getting angry over nothing.
Life is too short. Guess you'll realize that when it's too late.

No respectable U.S. President would honor the skank.

Does that mean I excuse her for her actions? Not at all, but at least she's tried to make amends.
