Their own board member admits to NY Times it was done for political reasons.

Three sources tell Atlantic Monthly their right wing, anti-choice VP Handel led the effort to oust PP.

The cancer community has been on the full attack mode on Komen for years. Not a good organization when there are so many organizations that do not partner with KFC and other cancer causing companies, do not pinkwash, and do not spend so little on services.

The recent scandal is only proving what those of us in the cancer community already knew. Not a left - right issue, you don't have to be left wing to see Komen as what it really is: a money hungry organization that does not deserve our funds.

So what the heck. Did Komen end All funding to PP because PP is being investigated ? Or did they selectively end funding to Some PP affiliates, the ones that don't offer all on-site services ?
