LONDON (AP) – People who use marijuana before driving are nearly twice as likely to cause a car crash as those not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to a Canadian analysis of previous studies.

Experts at Dalhousie University in Canada reviewed nine studies of more than 49,000 people involved in accidents on public roads involving one or more motor vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses and motorcycles. Marijuana use was confirmed by blood tests or self-reporting.

No surprise. Anybody who has smoked pot who is honest with themselves should know that it is not something you should want to operate heavy machinery under.

I fully support the legalization of marijuana for medicinal, industrial, and recreational purposes, but it is insane to act like there are no downsides to marijuana.

This is hardly earth shattering news.

What's worse is being behind them at a fast food drive thru waiting for them to decide what to order.

You must be young. A time card. Like before computers and those bar code things you swipe now when you are an hourly employee. Put the card in and hit a button. Ka-clunk... the time you punched and the date is printed on the card in ink, in a slot.
