A 'million' moms can't compete with 3 million daily viewers. After J.C. Penney announced Ellen DeGeneres as the department store's new spokesperson last week, a conservative online organization launched a campaign to have her fired. Why? Because she's openly gay.

Awesome news! No need to bow down to a bigoted hate group.

Every Mom should be teaching their kids acceptance instead of rage and fear.

The intolerant have to learn tolerance.
I like Ellen and never found that she flaunted her gayness in a bad way or tried to make and issue of it like others have.

Default Go Penny's!

I am not a big JC Penny's supporter when it comes to shopping but I do support them 100% in this. It's sad to think that "one million" moms may be teaching their kids bigotry in the name of religion.

Bigotry is part of religious dogma. They're just being honest. Honest bigots.

Really? Please find where in the Bible you can see a single instance where Jesus evoked a hate posse, bashed gays, told folks to hate black people, or instructed mankind to hate & beat down/ humiliate womankind as a religious right. Ever. Anywhere.

They aren't practicing religion. They made up their own 'religion'. In other words, a cult.

One Million Moms, if there are that many, probably watch Ellen and many likely don't support attacking her for her lifestyle. One of the worst ideas of the year, and a likely contender for the worst, but there are still over 10 months left in it for new boneheaded ideas.

You've got that right. I always put it this way--their Jesus doesn't seem to be acquainted with mine.
