Absolutely. Rush couldn't get through the junior college in Cape Girardeau, so ended up as a sports announcer. He blew that gig, but learned quickly as a talk-show host how to tap into the "Good Old White Boy" schtick. His covert racism emboldened people to indulge, to paraphrase, "the malignant angels of our nature." Limbaugh is to some degree responsible for the deterioration of our social fabric and the dehumanization of individuals and groups of people. He cynically manipulates his listeners, while being a hypocrite of the first order...wonder where he gets the illegal Cuban cigars? Same place he gets his Oxies?
