He's very good at aggressively dismantling the arguments of unsophisticated debaters who's opinions are irrational and bring nothing to bear on anyone's political reality, like a Jesus impersonator for example.

He seemed to have a goodly amount of trouble with Ron Silver, though...

He doesn't like religion, not the religious. It's analogous to "hate the sin, not the sinner."

So, if you think he's attacking religious persons, you might want to investigate the other claim as well.
