The human rights laws, especially in countries in northern Europe, are broad to imply that any speech criticizing Islam, in this example, is hate speech and is criminally liable for it.
You're absolutely making stuff up, here. There is what could be called hate speech legislation in Denmark - it's paragraph 266b in the penal code, btw. - but it's a complete fabrication to say that "any speech criticizing Islam" is criminal. Islam is roundly criticized.

You have to clear quite the hurdle in publishing deliberate, offensive falsehoods before 266b can come into play. (Incidentally, the only person to have managed to get himself a conditional prison sentence under 266b is - a Muslim.)

And I don't know if this is an EU directive or specific in some countries, but hate speech is broadly defined here and is a criminal offense
We'll add that to the list of things you don't know.

Not that it has anything to do with a logo for sports resort in the UAE.

Dont like the cross? Go back to where you came from

Just like if I dont like the Koran or their beliefs, I wouldnt move there or demand change there
Do you live in Europe? Are you European? If not, how can you say what Europe should and should not do? Isn't that like someone who moves there and says the country should change and pander to them - except that you don't even live there?

Biggest sport in the world by miles, though.

And it's getting bigger over here as well.
