Real remove cross from emblem to please Muslims - RT

Those who know me know that I am a strong advocate of the 1st Amendment and frequently call out Christians imposing their morals on gays, atheists, minorities etc. The same way I am also displeased when Christians' freedom of speech is threatened. Every group should be able to practice their faith without imposing it on others. In this case, it was a conscious decision by a private entity to cater to a bigger market, but still it's sad that they had to destroy a traditional symbol to do so.

Europeans are pretty much screwed. Their culture is on a fast-track decline because of their own low birthrates, open immigration policies and because they are too chicken to criticize Islam for fear of internal backlash. It is perhaps payback for their years of colonizing 3rd world countries. America will be next. This is not to say that we should start imposing Santorum-law starting tomorrow. Value the Constitution and make sure that others value it. No groups should be given special rights and no groups be oppressed either.

This is purely an economic decision, and the article makes it clear. Find some other fodder for your alarmist rant.

Actually, if you go to their website, they are still using the logo with the cross.

The story appears to not be true.

They are just trying to pander to a very wealthy consumer base (The soccer crazy consumers of Qatar) . Nothing wrong with that. They just want that everyone visits the "Real Madrid Sports Tourist Resort". You gotta give it to the Euros, they know how to market the biggest sport in the world.
