Trayvon was an arrogant, violent sociopath who attacked a man who was simply trying to protect his neighborhood from further burglaries. All Trayvon needed to do was walk up to Zimmerman and say "Hey, thanks for watching me...I understand that there have been a lot of burglaries in the neighborhood...I live at 4L which is my father's girlfriend's rented house....and I just walked two miles to by skittles and iced tea".....Zimmerman would have said "no problem man" and this story would have never happened. Instead, Trayvon felt "disrespected" and attacked Zimmerman who he did not know had a gun...the rest is history.

Did Zimmerman have the "Neighborhood Watch Logo" stamped on his head brain surgeon...'cause I didn't see it in the video tape?

When I was a 17 year old "child", if an adult of the community came up to me and was curious as to what I was doing I would simply have explained what I was doing....I would not have punched him out, broken his nose and straddled him on the ground continuing to punch and beat him.....had I done what Trayvon did, and survived, I would have been ostracized from the community and my own family....times have changed I guess...

You have no way of knowing that Martin didn't explain himself to Zimmerman, as his cell phone went dead. Why would Martin believe that Zimmerman was acting in any official capacity? Many young men trusted John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer as well.
