This is sad..........sounds like it was possibly revenge, someone not wanting the rancher to have this special white buffalo or sending some kind of message. Seems they would've protected the animal more, but they probably didn't think someone could be so mean.
We have a Fallow Deer farm near by and someone drove up got out of their car and shot a prize male and drove away leaving only a tire mark. Still haven't found the person and motive is still unknown.
How'd you guys manage to post such a sensitive OP without it getting trashed by the more rabid participants in this forum? What's your secret? You deserve some kind of prize. Now could you come over and join the Mt Rushmore thread? It needs your voices.
