Looks like good ole Senator Craig just might pull himself up out of his little mess with a little help from the ACLU. Guess its just not for liberals and their agenda's anymore...

This isn't the first time the ACLU has supported a conservative. The organization at one point was pretty straight up, and still stands up for some good causes occasionally. I honestly think they are just having a slow month sometimes when they take on bizarre cases and support criminals as being victims.
Just because you represent someone as an attorney doesn't mean you LIKE them. Rush Limbaugh, NAMBLA, whoever.
Otherwise, public defenders would only be the most disgusting people!
OK, point granted: careless wording on my part So lemme rephrase that:
Oh, so NOW they support Sen. Craig?! Hmmm...
But aside from that, let's face it: the only reason this has been headline news is because Craig as a Senator was always such a loudmouth hypocrite! He talked the conservative "family values" line, but the walk he walked was, uh... well, not exactly the same
If Craig had been a hardcore liberal (for example, a supporter of gay marriage) then NONE of this would've raised an eyebrow! Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) has served in Congress for years and nobody gives it a second thought.
The whole essence of the the Larry Craig story is summed up in that one word: hypocrisy. Nothing more, nothing less...
