I'm convinced that "terrorism" is nothing other than a buzzword used to rally people's basest emotions around activities that go to support the elite. Nothing more.
What we need is a war on war. Peace has to become First priority in America if we want things to improve.
Well said, OP. As the most powerful country in the World America needs to lead by example, not by force. Fear influences people and unfortunately fear got the best of us.
Having Mainstream Media constantly warn us about terrorism and having a "terror alert warning system" (seriously, what the hell kind of 1984 ***** was that?) certainly didn't help.
We have a "War on Drugs" for a plant that has never caused a fatality in it's 4,000+ year long history but pills are now causing more deaths than any other drug has ever caused (including the crack epidemic). I guess the lesson is only individual people can cause harm. Corporations and Government can do none.
The primary goal of all our "War on..." is to funnel money from the public into the hands of private suppliers and consultants. The system is a well concealed form of industrial socialism for the politically connected.

The war on terror has truly exposed the fact that the Media is there to create opinion, lies and an agenda for Oligarch's and Robber Baron's, not provide honest information that people can digest and come to an understanding.
LOL, I think yellow with a hue of magenta.
Which of course means we probably could have a possibility of an attempted terrorist attack at some point in the near or distant future.
The warning is life-threatening and indefinite. If you see something, SAY SOMETHING. And remember, be afraid, very very afraid. LOL.
