Pedophiles can get married, just not have children. Murders can get married, rapist can get married, thieves can get married, any convicted felon can get married but 2 law abiding citizens wheo happened to be of the same sex cannot. Makes you wonder doesn't it.
Let me spell it out for those of you who are "challenged":
Pedophelia is deemed unacceptable because it involves the coercion of a minor. Little kids don't have the maturity to be saddled with the consequences of adult relationships. It doesn't matter what the sex of the adult and child is; it's unacceptable because it involves a minor.
Homosexuality - or heterosexuality - is deemed acceptable when it involves two consenting adults. Again, it shouldn't matter what the sex of the adults involves is as it's frankly their lives, they are adults, it doesn't directly affect you, and it's none of your F-ing business. As far as societal rights go, there is no earthly justifiable reason for any subset of them to be discriminated against.
Hey, I'm curious. Is a fee being charged to livestream the execution of the 4 gay man in that other thread? What did it cost you? Or are you going all out to celebrate and traveling to Iran for for the big event?
It is already acceptable in some liberal cultures. I have seen signs of it's acceptance in the United States.
Adults having sex with children being accepted by liberals? I think you've got that backwards. It's been religious conservatism that for millenia allowed sexing up barley pubescent little kids. It's modern liberal progressives who recognized the harm in this and have pushed for higher age of consent laws.
Let's consider modern day. What countries allow girls to be married as soon as they reach puberty (or have minimum marrying ages of 12 or 13 for girls): Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Yemen, Sri Lanka, Syria. Are those liberal or conservative cultures? Also, consider the conservative Catholic Church. It seems to me that they condone sex between church leaders and children.
