Yes integration was so great. If it was so great then why was it FORCED?Because it was wrong. Look at our schools now...nothing but jungles of crime,drugs,and sheer stupidity.

Also to categorize EVERY school as a "jungle" (A rather interesting word choice) of crime drugs and sheer stupidity is categorically illogical.

Jim Crow also served as a form of economic protectionism, by protecting busineses who discriminated against blacks (despite that not being in their economic interests) and preventing blacks from opening their own businesses to compete against established white businesses. It was fundamentally elitist and a form of "corporate welfare"
Because it was against what was natural and correct. Lord forbid we allow free association with our own kind.

PS - I find it strikingly fascinating that you make reference to the "Lord" which assume, correct me if I am wrong, is the god of the Christians. That being the case I find it puzzling that as Christian you would beseech the "Father of Christ" for an explanation justifying the discrimination of one set of his children from another. Any explanation for that would be greatly appreciated.
Why dig up the past? Sure those things were wrong but most who lived back then are all dead now. We aren't them and they aren't us. This constant talk about racism is what is keeping racism alive. To think that we haven't come a long ways since Jim Crow is ludicrous. Racism will never be completely irradicated but today it isn't only whites that can be racists.
