And the result? Hundreds of children will not be placed at all; hundreds of others will be placed in morally corrosive environments; hundreds of sex-slaves will not be rescued at all; and hundreds of others may be persuaded to kill their unborn babies. All in the name of sticking it to the Catholic Church.

We're not whining, just paying attention.

I said, "Catholics are not necessarily Christians." And I'll stand by that statement. The fact that some priest threw some water on your head when you were a baby does NOT make you a Christian.
Catholics were the original christians.
Martin Luther, Jan Huss, etc. removed themselves from that sect and created others.
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Ah, yes, you know more than anyone, we get it.

Don't all religious people raise their kids in some whack belief?
They're all delusional (religious believers), so who cares...

They all have ritual and rites.
The catholics were just the first.

Remember, from them came the bible you all worship.

All Abrahamic based religions are hate filled and have killed in the name of their religion.

And the catholic church can bear shame and responsibility for that.
Who does their jebus hate?
Unborn babies, feh.
Rip it out and see if it can live on its own without being a parasite.

The requirements for state funding are in the rules, catholics just like to flaunt their power and victimhood to promote hatred and bigotry.
They can have funding if they play by the rules.
Oh well.

Nice to see an apologist without reasoning skills.
Agenda much?

There was no shortage of priests before the Second Vatican Council. Vocations were plentiful and seminaries were full, celibacy requirements and all. Today, the most orthodox dioceses and seminaries also have no shortage of vocations.

You have to understand male psychology. Men need to be challenged, they need a good fight. Celibacy has always been a welcome challenge for normal Catholic men wanting to serve the Church. Remove the celibacy requirement and men will prefer watching football after an early Mass.

The present vocations shortage is due, quite simply, to a post-conciliar crisis of faith among Catholics and a shortage of children due to contracepting Catholic families. The witch hunt climate only exacerbates the problem.
