pghquest LIES
So Obama didnt sell the stimulus by saying jobs would result?
THEN WHY DID WE SPEND THE MONEY?
Quit lying?
The OP is is about whether or not Obama promised to keep unemployment below 8%.
And that is a lie.

Obama did say that the stimulus would create jobs. And it did.

PolitiFact Virginia | Cantor says stimulus "failed to get people back to work."

Separately, the council’s report cited four independent analyses by the Congressional
budget office and three private economic analysis companies. Here’s what the groups found:

*CBO: Between 1.3 million and 3.6 million jobs saved or created.

*IHS/Global Insight: 2.45 million jobs saved or created.

*Macroeconomic Advisers: 2.3 million jobs saved or created.

*Moody’s Economy.com: 2.5 million jobs saved or created.

You might try reading the OP again... and look for the word "promise"... you won't find it.

So you are the liar, and not only that, you can't read English. Period.

Every word in the OP is absolutely true.

What exactly is there in the OP but stupidity? Did someone predict that we will lost over 800K jobs in December 2008, for example? And if one didn't, then they are all fools?

Maybe you need to learn to read. The OP didn't say anything about a promise.

You can't read and your post is a lie.

Obama sold us his stimulus boondogle with this projection of unemployment.
Too bad so many lemmings believed him.

Here is an exact quote from Mitt Romney;

“Three years ago, a newly elected President Obama told America that if Congress
approved his plan to borrow nearly a trillion dollars, he would hold unemployment
below 8 percent.”

In any case, Obama himself never “told America” that his plan “would hold unemployment
below 8 percent,” as Romney claims. This was merely a staff report about a generic
stimulus package, not even Obama’s own plan
Obama sold us, is the same as saying Obama promised us, which makes you a LIAR.
You and Romney are both liars. period.

For Republicans, Lying is a way of life.
