Why would gay people have any reason to protest a normal marriage?
Because they probably have better things to do in their lives than to worry about peoples sex lives.
I have an advice for you. You would be a lot happier in your life if you just started to accept people for what they are and whats in their heart.

Problem is they are the same sex. Not normal to marry someone of the same sex or even have sex with someone of the same sex.
One can love someone of the same sex but not have sex with them , big difference. When someone crosses that line to have sex with some one of the same sex it is abnormal.
Personally I think your opinion is weird and NOT NORMAL.
Of course, you have a right to your opinion ... and to express it! Not trying to take away your freedom of speech.

Fair enough. But those sins obviously went along with homosexuality, like it or not. If you disagree then you will have to throw out the entire Bible.
What I objected to was your idea that the word Sodom had it's origins in homosexuality. No, it's a slang term created as a result of the biblical account.
Since when has marriage been an exclusively Christian institution? How does a gay couple marrying harm anything? If two people are in love, more power to them. I'm not harmed by that, I'm happy for them.
Would you feel differently if you were prevented by law from marrying the person you love?
Yeah, I was wondering about that idiotic statement too. The self-righteousness and bible thumping of the pseudo Christians is ad nauseum. I am thoroughly convinced that the "thou doth protest too much " as it relates to these bores is a cover-up for their own sexual insecurities and dormant/latent sexual tendencies.
