I found this image on Facebook, so I have no way to verify the source. Regardless of the source, I fully stand behind the idea regardless of who said it (even if that turned out to be GWBush himself!). That said, I really hope that this is Obama's, my Google search showed more than 30 pages of results (not all tumblr) and none of these attribute the quote to someone else.
Allow me to go on a short rant that is NOT pointed only at you...
THIS is the EPITOME of what is wrong with Americans in the internet age! We see something we like, so we simply assume it's credibility and truth. Then it goes viral, and millions of people assume it's true, despite the fact that we have absolutely no idea where it came from. No wonder we have such stupid people in office! Stupid people are putting them there!
Yet Viagra is a legitimate drug paid for by most insurance programs. I think BC drugs should be as well.
Viagra is for a medical condition where the body is not acting the way it should, it's not working right. BC is to prevent the body from acting the way it should. You have sex, the body should be able to get pregnant if nothing is wrong with it. Pregnancy is not a disease like getting a tapeworm. Actually, BC is a carcinogen and bad to take. It will cause medical diseases like blood clots, etc.
CK78 - As I do not believe the fundamental assumption that there is a "supreme being," I also reject your, via the Pope, insistence the "rights" are given from the top down. I believe they are inherent in being a living human being and do not require authorization by a church or a government. Although inherent rights do frequently require protection by a government from usurpation by churches and other tyrants.
Actually, you just made the best argument for a Supreme Being. Our rights come from God not the government or anyone or anything else. It's in our constitution. Right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and it does not depend on what government we have in office at the time, it's our basic rights.
If we give over those rights to our government then they own us and can do anything they want to us. Our basic rights stand in the way of being overtaken by the government. Most of us think those basic rights come from God but you are free to think they come from inside you. We are still a free country. That is how our founding fathers wanted us to be.
And more importantly if it is against your conscience to pay for BC and abortifacients/abortions then protest. That is our right as free Americans or doesn't Obama know that. BC is not the issue, freedom of religion is. BC is easy to get so no women would be blocked from getting it.
The church will be closed and many people who they help will be hurt if that mandate is forced. That doesn't seem to occur to Obama or he doesn't care. I am getting the feeling the supreme court will strike down Obamacare and the problem will be over anyway.
I should have said church charities will be closed down. The church helps many who have sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and also has a huge AIDS charity.

At anyrate, I agree with the statement. Religious freedom means more then the freedom to practice your religion, it means freedom from religion.
No one is being forced to adhere to any religion. You are free to do what you want as others are free to do what they want. This is to stop the church from being mandated to do what is against their conscience. Freedom of conscience is the biggest freedom we have, or it should be.
I believe doctors are now proscribing Viagra to women as well.
