Then what do you want to see happen? People who don't have the money to pay for medical care should be directed to private charities to beg for what they need?

Just $1000 per year is all I need.
So you know what I'm talking about. Did you see the new rule that you don't actually have to make a profit anymore? Just have to show you're trying to make one (e.g. improvements, etc).

ETA: Oh and we're looking at farms bigger now than we were before. Thinking a multi-use farm with a tree farm - around 1000 acres would do it. 'Sustainable' tree farms are a HUGE tax benefit, especially with this administration.

The precedent set is scary, but at least they didn't feel the Commerce Clause made ObamaCare constitutional.

What I think would be constitutional (but I would still be opposed) would have been for them to raise taxes and then give a deduction to everyone who has insurance. I don't see the constitutional argument against that. I would certainly be against it, but I don't think it would be constitutional. Obviously the difference between this and raising taxes on people who don't buy insurance is effectively only semantical. I haven't had time to read the decision yet. Maybe they were thinking along these lines? I'll read it eventually.

Can they mandate we all get vacations either in the mountains or at the beach each year for 2 weeks ?
It's for our "general welfare" because "a happy worker is a more productive worker"

Apex physician doesn't accept health insurance :: WRAL.com

Loved it because I didn't have to share him with poor and old people on gov't programs.

That's like buying a wrecked car, getting full coverage insurance, and then demanding the insurance company pay to fix the car.
Hence the reason there is an individual mandate. That way, people will be paying in the years before and after they get ill.

I'm not sure that this ACA isnt going to raise costs substantially on everyone.....those that choose to buy the policy and those that choose to pay the tax.
How Much Does Health Insurance Cost? The Average Premium for Individual Coverage in 2011 was $183 per month, eHealth Study Finds / eHealth

Quote:
According to the ‘Cost & Benefits of Individual and Family Health Insurance Plans’ report, released today by eHealth, Inc. (NASDAQ: EHTH), the average premium paid for individual health insurance coverage in the United States in 2011 was $2,196 per year ($183 per month); families paid an average annual premium of $4,968 ($414 per month). The report also found that the average deductible for individually-purchased health insurance plans in 2011 was $2,935 for individuals and $3,879 for families.
Of course this does not average in people with preexisting conditions who will be in there come 2014.

Amazing how there are still some in the USA who continually brown nose the big corporations even when the corporations rape them everyday as with the health insurance companies...... oh well hopefully the Country can get past the idiots who think that paying more for a less efficient health system as today's model is somehow clever or in some way good for America............. IT ISN'T.
Health Care STINKS in the USA and now we have a President who is cleaning up the Health Care sespit of America................ Congrats President Obama on this historic ruling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The corporations can always move out of the USA..they have done so many times.. it is the people here that will suffer. The American people.. The government is taking over.

The farming families will suffer. It is far reaching to every household.
