I would be afraid too if there were groups of people who put a bounty on my head, and the media was telling everyone that I was a child-raping murderer racist "white guy" who was going to jump bail.
Justice was served the moment someone questioned the action of an idiot with a gun who kills a young man for sport - with the miss- thought that some how there was a law that allowed him to hunt humans- called stand your ground- He did not stand- He advanced and shot.
Even if he is not formally convicted- all of America that has a mind will keep this poor piece of work in exile till he dies.

Well the simple fact in this case is knowing who confronted who. We have Zimmermans account of events and what we believe happened to Martin that night. I find it hard to believe that Zimmerman feared for his life after targeting Martin and carrying a loaded handgun. This my opinion and based on what I do know about the case. My opinion is not fact and things certainly could have happened the way Zimmerman explained the events. Hopefully the trial will spell out the facts and we learn the truth about what happened that night.
I agree with you, but here is my point. If I feel justified about something, no one, no way, no how is going to force me from my home and to live like a hermit.
Guilt is often seen by the actions of an individual after they do something. If Zimmerman really felt his was innocent, he wouldn't be hiding.
I can name three news stories where a home owner defended themselves by shooting people. There was some controversy, but in the end, someone broke into their home, and they felt justified. Zimmerman, as you said, started this. So now he is facing the consequences of his actions.
His choice is to live like a hermit or risk his safety. You might choose to go about your life in his position; I'd stay in the safe house.
If you kill somebody, your life is on standby until the trial is over. That's the kind of thing you should think over, really well, before you start patrolling your neighborhood with a firearm.
Actions have consequences. No one forced Zimmerman into the actions he took that night--he made that choice all by himself. Now he has to man up and own his actions. He gets no sympathy from me.
Police never spoke to him. Allegedly he was already out of his car looking for Trayvon when the dispatcher suggested that, he then allegedly returned to his car.
Isn't this when he was attacked by Trayvon?
