Trial Date: June 10, 2013 Stand Your Ground Hearing: 45 days prior to trial
"George Zimmerman's murder trial for the shooting of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin will commence on June 10, 2013, according to the Orlando Sentinal."
Hearing in re gag order for Zimmerman, stand your ground law, and others:
"After hearing more than an hour-and-a-half of arguments, Circuit Judge Debra Nelson delayed issuing a written ruling until at least Monday."
"The judge ruled on several other motions Friday, including setting a date for a hearing on the "stand your ground" self-defense immunity for 45 days before trial. Nelson previously scheduled Zimmerman's murder trial for June 10. A status hearing is set for mid-December."
Appears that Zimmerman has gained LOTS OF WEIGHT in the photos published with the article in re gag order request.
That weight gain is NOT going to be a good thing for him during the trial, as his defense is he was afraid of Martin and that Martin had him down on the ground beating him.

We don't know who he was. Even if he was a bad ass...I weep not for those who lived a good life, but for those who did not live well. I weep for the wicked. In this case no one will ever know who this now deceased young man would have or could have been.
Tough talk like and words like "thug" are not helpful....as they say "God rains on the good as well as the wicked" God does not judge only humans do..It might be good to rise above our human judgement for a bit. The whole affair is drifting into time and fading...It was a tragic event none the less..and hundreds of incidents like these are and will occur...that is a sad thing..We can do better than this.

Interesting article. Typical. News folks go silent after virtually convicting the guy. Note the positive for THC, in Trayvon's blood...that has never been mentioned...
Well, I see this going on and on...Zimmerman will probably have a civil trial after the criminal one...

We should all reserve comment until we know the whole story, I am sure GZ feels bad about what happened. He probably wishes it could have ended differently.
